Christopher Romano (M.F.A. Fine Art, Art Center College of Design / B.A. Fine Art, UCLA) wanted to be a painter when he grew up before falling into the slippery world of computer animation and visual effects. Throughout his career, Romano has maintained a strong independent art and film presence.

It all started with his original DREAMBOY cartoons, which aired on MTV's "Cartoon Sushi." Since then, his creative work has appeared worldwide in theaters, festivals, and on television. Romano's first commission was TIMEBOMB for KCRW, via DUCK. In 2014, Romano released ¡MONSTRO!, a 10 minute comedy written and directed for Side Effects Software, using Houdini. ¡MONSTRO! spent a year on the circuit, playing in over 30 festivals internationally (and even winning a few times). The animated "Alphabet City," directed and designed by Romano for ShadowMachine and their sketch comedy show TRIPTANK, aired on Comedy Central in 2016.

Following the successful kickstarter campaign, Romano recently published his graphic novel MOONSTRUCK!

Professionally, Romano has over 50 production credits in features and television, plus extensive commercial work experience.
